Oktoberfest at GLO
There is a time for enjoying good hops, and that time is Oktober! This Oktoberfest at GLO, rewind with the friendly authentic Bavarian atmosphere and music we all know and this one comes with great outdoor setting vibes and views.
Oktoberfest at GLO offers an a la carte menu in four distinct parts. ‘From the Smoker’ grilled dishes include Hand Pulled Beef Knuckle Sandwich, Beef Short Ribs, BBQ Brisket Platter and Assorted Bavarian Sausages Served with Apple Sauerkraut & Mustard. The fowl in the ‘From the Rotisserie’ section include Roasted Chicken and Duck. ‘Bavarian Specialities’ include cheese or onion Spätzle, Bavarian Potato Salad, Gurkensalat, Obatzda, Fries, and Pretzels while the signature Apple Crumble is the ‘Dessert’ for those with the insatiable sweet tooth.
This is a festival of Bavarian cuisine expertly prepared and served to entire tables.
Oktoberfest runs at Rosewood Abu Dhabi between 23 September and 4 October, from 6pm onwards.
Friday Garden Brunch at GLO: Eat-Swim- Sip-Repeat
The Friday Rosewood Brunch, from 12 noon to 3 pm, has moved back outdoors to GLO, for the best experience of winter in Abu Dhabi, but still retains the Eat-Sip-Swim-Repeat theme as the pool is never far away. Guests can enjoy the fun vibes at the cocktail bar and fabulous food offerings at any of the live stations including the cold seafood bar, sushi counter and oyster corner. The Asian specials including Peking duck and dim sums and Indian specials, a Taco corner and station, BBQ grills and a dessert trolley going around complete the food picture. Choose your favourite meat or seafood on display and watch it get masterfully and authentically grilled on firewood to your liking. The package includes pool access and a 20% discount on F&B before and after brunch at the pool side. This is for just AED 395 per person for food alone.
Daily Dining at Wood & Fire – The Outdoors Terrace
The daily dinner at Wood & Fire returns to its Outdoors Terrace, an intimate ambience overlooking the waters of the Arabian Sea and the Abu Dhabi skyline. It is the season to enjoy Abu Dhabi to its fullest and you can watch the chefs working their skills grilling on wood and producing all those succulent dishes that make a great menu. A celebration of firewood-grilled goodness, it features starters as beef, steak tartar, beetroot citrus salad, kale avocado salad and charcuterie. The mains include spit-fire prawns, lobster, and other succulent dishes such as Chicken liver parfait, Beef steak tartare, Poke bowl, Normandy oysters, Salmon Plank, Lamb Rump, 12 hour brisket, Jimbaran style seabass / seabream, and Canadian lobster. For dessert, we offer churros, pumpkin caramel pecan cheesecake. All this takes place Tuesday to Saturday between 6.30 pm and 11 pm.
The Saturday Brunch at Wood & Fire
If you’ve missed the awesome Friday brunch at Wood & Fire, there is no need to fret. You always have the Saturday brunch from 12 noon to 3 pm at the same venue – a weekend highlight the brings into play the full line up of Wood & Fire pleasures.
The shared set menu Saturday brunch features favourite starters, a selection of appetizers and salads. The main course includes Tuna Tartare, Duck Rillette, Flank Steak, the signature ’12 hour smoked brisket’ and a selection of mouth-watering desserts.
The package offers pool access and 20% discount on F&B at the pool side before and after brunch and starts from AED 310 per person going up to AED 410 for food and a free flow of grapes and hops.
Majlis Lobby Lounge
At the main Majlis Lobby Lounge, all-day dining is accompanied by a glamorous afternoon tea. The menus come from different cuisines carrying various flavors, and the tea comes in many types, including Arabic, Asian, vegan, vegetarian and English afternoon tea. Open 7am to 3am (4am Thu-Fri).
Majlis Garden View
The new indoor ‘Majlis Garden View’ faces the lush and picturesque garden with a stunning view of the city’s gorgeous sunsets. The place is carefully designed for privacy and will quickly be your favorite morning spot to catch up with friends over coffee, enjoy an invigorating business lunch, reset the day with a calming afternoon tea, or even join an evening celebration. The Majlis welcomes guests between 12pm and 3am (4am Thu-Fri).
Ladies Tuesday Night at GLO
Dubbed ‘Heel Before Me,’ the ladies’ night jamboree held every Tuesday have moved back to GLO and the great outdoors, but the fun night remains the same.
Ladies receive three complimentary house grape beverages from 6pm – 9pm as well as a 20% discount on food and beverage after 9pm until closing.

Nightly Happy Hour
Welcome to Hidden Bar; the trendy bar that has quickly become one of Al Maryah Island’s hottest spots. This is where you go to enjoy the biggest gin selection in town as well as a variety of cocktails, infusions, and client favorites within a chic interior and an outdoor terrace offering a captivating view of the water. Guests are welcome to choose from a staggering collection of over 200 types of gin, 10 types of tonic, and an impressive selection of homemade gin infusions. Food options include the famous tacos and bar bite favorites. Guests of Hidden Bar can also enjoy daily Happy Hour 2 for 1 specials from 6pm – 8pm and from midnight till 3am (4am Thu-Fri)
Gin O’ Clock Friday Evening Brunch
This is the city’s favourite evening Gin brunch, known for its great vibes. Guests can experience the authentic Gin O’ Clock vibes with the classic dine and drink experience featuring a set menu of the best selection of cold cuts, artisan cheese board, seafood appetizers, succulent mains and sweet desserts to be enjoyed with unlimited cocktails, bubbles, grapes or hops to quench their thirst.Every Friday from 6pm – 9pm at AED265 per person.
Daily Tacos (Monday Special)
Those in the mood for some lip-smacking street-food-style tacos will find what they’re looking for at Hidden bar. The tacos come with a twist featuring all-time favorites representing the various regions of Mexico. This includes hand-pulled 12-hour brisket, seafood ceviche, smoked chicken and more. Guests get 9 authentic tacos for just AED200 every Monday from 6pm to 9pm.
Hidden Bar – S.O.S Tuesday Special
For those who love S.O.S, Sushi, Oysters, Sashimi and Sparkles, this is the place to be every Tuesday evening. It’s a truly trendy experience featuring the best selection of hand-rolled Sushi and expertly cut Sashimi alongside freshly shucked Normandy Oysters to be enjoyed with unlimited bubbles, grapes or hops to quench your thirst. Prices start at AED200 per person for two hours, with AED85 hourly extension. It runs from 6pm – 9pm.
La Cava
La Cava is inspired by a rich history of winemaking. For the connoisseurs, La Cava provides an intimate and exclusive wine cellar featuring private dining with wall-to-wall cabinets housing 1,000 premium labels and a walk-in cigar room with a prized whiskey selection. Open 6pm to 1am.
Red & Rare Wednesday Special
As part of this offer, guests enjoy a succulent world-class premium cut of 1kg T-bone steak fresh off the grill served alongside steak favorites of roasted potatoes and garlic confit, with a choice of rich beef jus, thick Béarnaise, creamy mushroom, or green peppercorn sauce.
Furthermore, for merely an additional AED32 per order, guests can add steak fries, mashed potatoes, grilled portobello mushroom, green asparagus with fried capers and parmesan and sautéed spinach. A great sharing experience.
Red and Rare runs every Wednesday from 6pm until 10pm, and costs AED409 with free-flowing grape.
7 ATE 9 The Ultimate Grape and Cheese Experience
For all grape and cheese lovers, La Cava is the perfect cove. It brings the South African grape festival from 1st to 8th September. Guests can taste 15 wines paired with an irresistible cheese selection and cold cuts served to their table. It runs from Monday to Saturday between 7pm to 9pm, with two-hour packages starting from just AED209 per person for the standard package, and AED309 per person for the Bold package, which offers premium grape selection. Furthermore, guests have the choice to extend their evening for just AED99 per hour.
Dai Pai Dong
Street Style BBQ now at Dai Pai Dong terrace – a “cook-it-yourself” experience
The barbecue and grills experience has built closer relationships among families and friends for centuries. Experience an outdoorsy Chinese street-style BBQ at the terrace of Dai Pai Dong with your loved ones. With a selection of meat, seafood and vegetables brought straight to your table, you get to develop your grilling skills and enjoy flaunting them.
A variety of packages are available. Gluten-free or vegetarian options are also possible.
Every Wednesday night, 6 pm to 11.30 pm, starting 06 October 2021.
Priced at AED 198 per person with an option to include free-flowing hops for an additional AED 65 per person.
Mid-week Lunches
With Dai Pai Dong’s famed All You Can Eat Dim Sum Lunch, guests can enjoy delicate bite-sized buns filled with the most scrumptious fillings. Whether you like them steamed or fried, there’s a Dim Sum to suit your taste, available Sunday to Thursday, from noon to 3pm at AED118 per person. For those looking for a more formal meal, there is also a 4-course Business Lunch every weekday, featuring delicious Dims Sums, spring rolls, soup, a main course, and dessert, at the same price!
Mid-Autumn family-style set menu
With its seasonal offering of fresh seafood, fowl and veggies, the September special Mid-Autumn Family-Style Set Menu runs from the 2nd to 8th September. For AED258 per person, begins with salad and starter, go on to traditional smoked seabass and then on to Sichuan style spicy chicken. This comprehensive gastronomic experience continues with papaya and shrimp salad, crispy duck salad with pomelo, followed by Dim Sum. It ends with a steamed pork Xiao long bao, scallop Sui Mai and Wagyu beef bun. Guaranteed to satiate any gourmet’s palate!
Mooncake Festival
Visit Dai Pai Dong for its Mooncake Festival, to sample this delicious and intriguing taste of pastry and history. Mooncakes will be part of the a la carte menu from 1st to 21st September, priced at AED68 for three pieces.
It is said that the custom of eating mooncakes in the Mid-Autumn Festival began in the Tang Dynasty (618 – 907 AD). The Tang Emperor Li Shimin ordered a general called Li Jing to lead the troops and conquer the Turks. On the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, Li Jing returned triumphantly. A trader from Tibet offered some round cakes to Li Shimin to congratulate him on the victory. Li Shimin was very happy to receive this gift and people began feasting on the round cakes on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month to commemorate the victory. The name was changed into ‘Mooncake’ during the reign of a later Tang emperor as they were also used in a Chinese custom of worshiping the moon. The Mid-Autumn moon is round, and mooncakes are fragrant and sweet. During the festival, families sit together and eat mooncakes and fruits, and this custom is now a symbol of family reunion.
Friday Evening Hot Pot Brunch
Dai Pai Dong welcomes guests to the ultimate authentic Cantonese dining experience – Friday Evening Hot Pot Brunch. Guests can spend a profoundly pleasing time with their family and friends, indulging in fresh flavors of a traditional Hot Pot. From 6 pm to 11.30 pm, the brunch selection and soft drinks cost AED298 for a 3-hour package. The brunch selection hops and grapes costs AED428 for a 3-hour package.
Flavor Feast ‘Ais Kacang’ – Shaved Iced Dessert
Welcome to the flavor feast with ‘Ais Kacang’ – Shaved Iced Dessert – a well-known Asian dessert, originally made of shaved ice and red beans. The Shaved Ice Desserts come in four delicious and colorful flavors including Red Bean Shaved Ice (red bean, raisins, black pearls, lichi, taro balls and sweet corn), Matcha Shaved Ice (shaved milk ice, ice cream, ice jelly, taro balls, black pearls, and almond), Chocolate Shaved Ice (ice jelly, vanilla ice cream and choco crumble), and Mango Shaved Ice (shaved milk Ice, mango, mango ice cream, sago, sweet corn, and ice jelly). Available every day for AED48.
Saturday ‘Yum Cha’ Brunch
For those who prefer to relax on a Friday and reserve their revelry for Saturday, Dai Pai Dong offers a decidedly different Saturday ‘Yum Cha’ Brunch. Guests can enjoy a variety of Dim Sums, a selection of delectable dumplings, roasted meats, and desserts. From noon to 9 pm, the brunch selection and soft drinks costs AED298 for a 3-hour package, while the brunch selection, hops and grapes comes in at AED428 for a 3-hour package.
