Inspired by the shimmering sunsets over the Arabian Gulf, Sontaya at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort has launched Sunset Flow, a celebration of its exquisite ambiance, in collaboration with Pommery Champagne.
Meaning ‘sunset’ in Thai, the venue has seductively bought together the magic of Arabian Gulf, modern Asian flavors and vintage bubbles. On the evening of 17th December, the enchanting pavilions of its bar will be transformed for one night only to savor the finer things in life with a flare. From 5PM to 7PM, an exclusive curated menu around the blends and a free flow of Pommery Royal Brut Champagne would be served.
Served as a welcome drink and not to be missed is aptly named concoction, Golden Hour cocktail, which signifies the blending of Sontaya (Asian hibiscus flower) and Pommery champagne for the event. Along with the cocktail, guests will be served a platter of complimenting canapés consisting of the aromatic asian herb beef salad with lemon dressing, pan seared scallop with pomelo salad, prawn in thai green curry with eggplant and sweet basil, and Roasted duck in chili bean sauce and pickle ginger. Vegetarian options are available on request.
For enthusiasts of the brand, an exclusive tasting of Pommery, a frivolous blend, the Royal Blue Sky Champagne, will be available with a brief journey to the vineyards of Reims, France delivered by the brand’s very own ambassador – Alex Tarditi.
The Sunset Flow is an exclusive event with limited capacity available. Guests can make reservations for AED 375 per person and are encouraged to book in advance.
