Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island’s Restaurants Now Open To The Public

Following a year filled with successes in 2019 which saw the beachfront resort hotel establishing itself as Abu Dhabi’s first all-inclusive hotel – Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island is pleased to open its doors to outside guests. The public is now welcome to experience luxury dining  at their four a-la-carte restaurants – Aja Asian & Teppenyaki Restaurant, Orient, L’Olivo and Mermaid which coincides with the launch of their new menus this month.

Promising to offer guests the most premium gastronomic experiences, Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island invites hotel and non-hotel guests to explore a world of multiple flavors at these distinctive restaurants and bars. Whether you fancy a quick bite at sunset or are keen to experience culinary at its finest, Rixos will take you on a tasty journey that spans favorite cuisines of the world, from Japanese to Italian, Seafood and Turkish.

Mermaid

Dive deep into the world of delectable seafood at Mermaid – the epitome of beachside luxury dining and enjoy the freshest of Mediterranean seafood cuisine. Guests are invited to sample the delicious signature dishes from the new menu including smoked octopus with sweet potato purée, kaya korugu salad, seafood orzo with shrimps, and calamari with seafood bisque while reveling in the romantic atmosphere from the sea views to the soothing sound of crashing waves in the background. Whether you’re catching a beautiful sunset or planning a date night with your significant other, Mermaid restaurant will leave you coming back for more.

Orient

A contemporary venue influenced by Oriental traditions with the warmth of Turkish hospitality, Orient will transport guests back to Rixos’ true heritage. The venue invites them to explore the distinguished taste of Anatolian cuisine in an elegant fine-dining setting, featuring indoor and outdoor dining options.  Set against the background of hypnotic live music, the new menu will tantalize taste buds with signature dishes such as the lamb shank confit with freekeh bulgur, the glaze-dried plum and manti with minced beef and mashed tomato sauce. Additionally, Turkish delicacies ranging from AED 55 to AED 120 will satisfy your sweet tooth.

L’Olivo

Lovers of Italian cuisine will rejoice over the new menu offerings at L’Olivo restaurant, serving heart-warming uncomplicated yet delicious dishes to make Nonna proud. The menu boasts an extensive selection of signature dishes such as the beef ribs with beetroot couscous and spinach roast, the saffron risotto with ossobuco, the garganelli napolitano and a selection of traditional homemade pizzas.  This enhanced menu features best-loved dishes prepared with the finest ingredients, sourced directly from Italy. With its alfresco terrace, cozy main dining room and live opera singing performance, L’Olivo is the perfect spot to celebrate with friends and family.

Aja Asian & Teppenyaki

Drawing inspiration from the Far East, Aja Asian & Teppenyaki Restaurant offers a traditional Japanese experience with a modern yet laidback touch. With indoor and outdoor sitting options to choose from, diners can relax and sample offerings from the sake and sushi bar amidst live music performance. Signature dishes from the eclectic new menu include the confit duck leg with baked beans, sautéed spinach, and soya glaze, the shrimp tower and the deep-fried tempura shrimp with chili mango and lime wedges. In addition, Aja’s live Teppanyaki cooking stations will provide additional entertainment while serving an Asian-inspired menu. Early bookings are a must!
