Rosewood Abu Dhabi is celebrating the festive season in style, with experiences ranging from a Nutcracker-inspired afternoon tea, a bake sale and a Christmas Social special, to a tree lighting event, grape and cheese nights and a variety of festive-themed brunches and set menus across all its dining outlets throughout the month of December.
Majlis, the five-star hotel’s lobby lounge, knows it can never be too early to get into the Christmas spirit. For those who simply cannot wait for the season to be jolly, there will be a Festive Afternoon Tea served from 25th November 2019 until 15th January 2020 with a chef’s table of special treats for AED 250. The experience, available from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., can also be enjoyed with a free flow of seasonal libations for AED 270. During Christmas week, Majlis will host a Nutcracker-inspired version of the afternoon tea with the same packages, including the chef’s table of art-influenced pastries with a festive twist.
Hidden Bar, known to house more than 150 kinds of international brands of beverages, will also start the party early with a Festive Infusion menu served throughout December. Ideal for office teams is the ‘Christmas Social’ get-together that will be hosted daily from 4th to 29th December, where colleagues can enjoy a free flow of sparkling beverages paired with seven canapes in addition to a live station of mulled wine – all for AED 250.
The lobby will smell divine with homemade Christmas treats freshly prepared for the big Festive Bake Sale that will run from 3rd to 28th December. Yule logs, Stollen, panettone – they have it all. One for the little ones to enjoy, the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held on 11th December at 6:00 p.m. with American Community School Students’ Choir performing carols setting the mood for the event.
Those looking to celebrate the Christmas Eve at Rosewood Abu Dhabi will have a choice of three different culinary experiences. A Christmas edition of the M.E.A.T @ Aqua dinner buffet will be served at the all-day dining restaurant for AED 325 from 7:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m.. Beverage pairing of house grapes and hops can be enjoyed for an additional AED 100.
The award-winning Dai Pai Dong gives the celebrations an Asian twist with its brand-new Lok Lok dinner served from 6:00 p.m. until midnight. Featuring dishes inspired by Asian street-style cooking, this buffet is available with unlimited soft beverages for AED 158 and free-flowing hops and grapes for AED 238.
Ladies looking to start the party early can visit the GLO terrace between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00pm, where they can enjoy four complimentary beverages while DJ Keith pumps up the music, creating the perfect celebratory mood.
On 25th December, Aqua invites all to join Chef Jaka for a four-hour brunch. Served from 1:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., the Christmas Day brunch allows guests to arrive at an hour of their preference and will include a visit from Santa. There will also be live entertainment by Milan the saxophonist between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.. The three packages on offer are AED 465 for unlimited soft beverages, AED 565 for free-flowing house beverages, and AED 232 for the younger guests aged six to 12 years.
Dai Pai Dong continues to wow its guests with a festive themed Yum Cha dinner served from 6:00 p.m. to midnight for AED 268, inclusive of unlimited grapes and hops for an additional AED 60. A la carte and ‘all you can eat’ menus will also be available on the night. Served from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., the special dinner will also be available on 21st and 28th December.
Sambusek, the popular Lebanese restaurant, joins the merriment with a festive special set menu for AED 350, inclusive of grape pairing for an additional AED 100, served on Christmas Eve and for lunch and dinner on Christmas Day.
La Cava, much-loved by Abu Dhabi residents, will host a Festive Grape Escape on 25th and 26th December from 7:00 p.m until 9:00 p.m, featuring a remarkable spread of cheese and 20 varieties of grape beverages. Priced at AED 288, the extremely popular culinary experience can be extended for AED 100 per hour. The Late Harvest is available for those looking to visit between 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.. Milan, the saxophonist, will perform live on both nights.
