Bringing the charm and magic of ancient Kuwaiti traditions to Al Maryah Island, guests will be left enthralled by the band’s enchanting jazz rhythms, beating drums and soulful vocals. Inspired by the century-old sea shanties that were sung by Kuwaiti pearl divers as they travelled across the Indian Ocean, the evocative jazz melodies are based on improvisation, fluidity, and dialogue, and influenced by the cultures of Zanzibar, India and beyond.
