The Art of Pizza at Terra Secca

This month, Chef Vittorio Nania is inviting guests to join him on an epicurean journey through the beautiful flavours of Italian cuisine. The widely acclaimed Junior-Sous Chef of Terra Secca restaurant, and recent nominee for Caterer Middle East’s exclusive “30 under 30 Best Chefs” list, is presenting an extra special experience for food connoisseurs that’s guaranteed to delight and amaze.

Boasting a tantilising line-up of wonderous creations, each inspired by a different Italian city, Terra Secca is bringing Italy’s most sensational pizza variations to the Abu Dhabi desert. Inviting guests to dine in the warm and welcoming dining room, or out on the wide-open terrace where they can admire the surrounding dunes and roaming Arabian horses, the restaurant provides an intimate and peaceful setting for a unique voyage of culinary discovery.

An expert in the subtle nuances of Italian cuisine, Chef Vittorio has spent many months working hard on each of the distinctly original dishes in The Art of Pizza selection. Showcasing fabulous flavour combinations that are totally one-of-a-kind and wonderfully imaginative, the culinary artist has succeeded in elevating the humble pizza to a whole new level of magnificence. The signature Da Vittorio is particularly significant to him as it features quality ingredients sourced directly from his hometown of Calabria, and its perfectly light base can be made with a choice of either a classic or multigrain dough.

Designed to instantly transport guests over to the charismatic nation of Italy, the glamorous Fichi D’oro presents a pizza unlike anything diners will have ever seen before. Adorned with gorgeous gold leaves and fresh figs, it’s an absolutely awe-inspiring creation. Meanwhile, the colourful and fresh Cetara is named after the picturesque Italian town of Cetara, which is renowned across the world for its fabulous anchovies, while Via Appia Antica incorporates a unique Cacio e Pepe sauce that is traditionally used in pasta dishes, but in this instance works perfectly as a creamy cheese and pepper base. Adding a further enticing twist, only two of the pizzas – the Da Vittorio and Cetara – include a classic tomato sauce, with the rest incorporating a number of other rare and interesting mixes.

Presenting six utterly incredible and supremely tasty choices, families and friends are invited to use The Art of Pizza as an opportunity to stray away from their usual favourite toppings and discover these visionary palate pleasers.

The Art of Pizza is available to savour daily from noon until 11pm, with prices starting from AED 85 per pizza.

Go Vegan at Panache pool bar

This month, Panache pool bar is highlighting the nutritious and satisfying flavours of vegan creations by unveiling an additional selection of plant-based options.

Providing sun seekers with the opportunity to enjoy a healthy lunch or wholesome nibble whilst absorbing the glorious weather of the UAE, the new range of delights is served alongside the existing à la carte menu of artistically presented dishes.

Showcasing how vibrant and interesting vegan options can be, the light, Asian-inspired tofu poke bowl is perfect to enjoy just after a refreshing dip and the hearty plant-based burger is ideal for fueling a busy day of desert adventures. Further additions include the spicy buffalo cauliflower wings, served with a creamy vegan cheese sauce, plus a selection of tempting light bites, such as Vietnamese spring rolls and fruity acai super bowls.

Surrounded by palm trees and offering amazing view of the expansive Al Wathba desert, days spent in the cool waters of Panache pool bar go by quickly, particularly when there’s a brilliant new array of vibrant dishes to try.
