Throughout the month of April, The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort has launched a wide range of tantalising culinary experiences, luxury hotel stays and family experiences. Centred around the Easter celebrations, the lavish events are a perfect way to make some magical holiday memories.

Easter Temptations with Egg Painting at Olea

Celebrate Easter with family and friends at Olea’s Easter Temptations with Egg Painting event on the 4th of April. An excellent opportunity to treat the kids to an exciting day out, the afternoon will feature a delicious sweet and savoury spread that showcases the creativity of our talented team of chefs.

From exquisitely rich duck egg and truffle sandwich to the smoked salmon pinwheel, the menu boasts a whole host of savoury treats that are ideal for a light afternoon meal. Other savoury dishes on the menu are turkey served with in house fig chutney chia roll, smoked salmon pinwheel and vegetable crudities with artichoke dip.

Hot cross buns ensure there’s an Easter flavour, while the sensational beef bresaola, fruity basil and strawberry shooters and crunchy vegetable crudites with artichoke dip will keep guests coming back for more.

On the sweet side of the menu, the famous fig tarts share the limelight with red velvet, chocolate fudge, and mixed berry pavlova. The galore of sweet treats continues with divine temptations such as creamy coconut cake, baked rhubarb and custard cheesecake, strawberry jalousie along with classic treats such as carrot cake and banana caramel cake.

For a cool, refreshing and deliciously sweet alternatives the feast features a selection of exotic ice creams in tempting flavors such as roasted cherry chocolate chips ice cream, red velvet ice cream, macadamia coffee ice cream and salted caramel ice cream. The offerings also include a separate section for cookies ice cream sandwich and for assorted easter cupcake and chocolates.

Served by the chefs at the stationguests can enjoy these dishes alongside colourful egg painting activity. Ideal for families looking for a bit of weekend fun, the event is held on 4th April and starts from 4 pm till 7 pm. The Olea Easter Temptations with Egg Painting costs AED 200 per adult and AED 150 per child.

The Signature 3 Easter Lunch and Dinner

Originally tasked with bringing together the best dishes from the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort’s three bespoke dining venues, the Signature 3 team has now turned its hand to a one-off, four-course, curated menu featuring Easter-themed dishes.

Starting with a mouth-watering foie gras torchon with gold egg truffle espuma and cinnamon pain perdu, the menu then moves on to a delicate white asparagus veloute with goat’s cheese and truffle snow.

For the main course, guests can choose between fresh pan-seared sea bass with roasted parsnips, baby carrots and a seafood emulsion or succulent corn-fed chicken supreme, with wild mushrooms, baby carrots, romanesco and sage jus.

Finally, the dessert takes the form of a spectacular easter egg surprise with an ivory chocolate Valrhona nest, hazelnut financier, coconut bavarois and mango vanilla coulis.

Guests will be hosted in the extravagant Signature 3 restaurant, with the option to take a seat inside or enjoy the breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf out on the terrace.

The unique four-course menu at Signature 3 is available on the 4th of April from noon and comes to a close at midnight, with tickets priced at AED 275 per person.

Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi Easter Brunch

Relax your way into the Easter celebrations with a chilled brunch experience at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort’s iconic beachfront Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi. Sontaya Songkran Festival

Usher in the Thai New Year in style with an exquisite five-course menu inspired by the fresh flavours of one of the world’s most beloved cuisines. Inspired by the wet and wild Songkran water festival, the event will take place amongst the floating pavilions of Sontaya restaurant.

The evening kicks off with an aromatic spicy duck salad with a lime, red chilli and fish sauce garnish, followed by sai ua – a traditional Thai spiced sausage that’s served with lemongrass, kaffir lime leaf and spring onion. The intricate and flavoursome dishes then continue with a spicy sea bass ho mok.

For the main course, guests will enjoy nuea phat phet – an authentic Thai curry that features grilled Angus ribeye, coconut gravy, green baby corn and coriander. Those with a sweet tooth will also adore the charthai cheesecake dessert served with coconut pandan ice cream and passion fruit caviar.

The Songkran Festival runs from the 13th-15th of April. The event starts at 6 pm and finishes at midnight. The five-course set menu is available for AED 275 per person.
